En ces jours-là,
Marie se mit en route et se rendit avec empressement
vers la région montagneuse, dans une ville de Judée.
   Elle entra dans la maison de Zacharie
et salua Élisabeth.
   Or, quand Élisabeth entendit la salutation de Marie,
l’enfant tressaillit en elle.
Alors, Élisabeth fut remplie d’Esprit Saint,
   et s’écria d’une voix forte :
« Tu es bénie entre toutes les femmes,
et le fruit de tes entrailles est béni.
   D’où m’est-il donné
que la mère de mon Seigneur vienne jusqu’à moi ?
   Car, lorsque tes paroles de salutation sont parvenues à mes oreilles,
l’enfant a tressailli d’allégresse en moi.
   Heureuse celle qui a cru à l’accomplissement des paroles
qui lui furent dites de la part du Seigneur. »

– Acclamons la Parole de Dieu.

New Year celebration in an alternative way
We invite everyone to celebrate the New Year together with Poverello in simplicity, friendship, enjoyment, respect, without alcohol and with a lot of fun in a cozy house near Brussels.
The main goal of our event is meeting each other, meeting different people from diverse cultures, countries and welcoming each other as we are!
Besides from tasty meals we also have in menu: exchange, board games, doing dishes, singing, prayer, music…
For young people (18-35) there is a possibility to participate in such program:
15:00 Arrival (3.5km from Zottegem station): getting to know each other and the location.
17:00 Preparation meal and party
20:00 Festive meal
23:00 Prayer for peace (inspired by the prayer of Taize)
24:00 Beginning of the New Year!
09:00 Breakfast
10:30 Eucharistic celebration
12:00 Meal
14:00 Cleaning and back home.

Who wishes to spend the night there, please bring what is nessesary with you, amongst other things: sleeping bag, fitted sheet, toilet supplies.
