En ce temps-là,
comme Jésus était dans une maison,
   arrivent sa mère et ses frères.
Restant au-dehors,
ils le font appeler.
   Une foule était assise autour de lui ;
et on lui dit :
« Voici que ta mère et tes frères sont là dehors :
ils te cherchent. »
   Mais il leur répond :
« Qui est ma mère ? qui sont mes frères ? »
   Et parcourant du regard
ceux qui étaient assis en cercle autour de lui,
il dit :
« Voici ma mère et mes frères.
   Celui qui fait la volonté de Dieu,
celui-là est pour moi un frère, une sœur, une mère. »

– Acclamons la Parole de Dieu.

New Year celebration in an alternative way
We invite everyone to celebrate the New Year together with Poverello in simplicity, friendship, enjoyment, respect, without alcohol and with a lot of fun in a cozy house near Brussels.
The main goal of our event is meeting each other, meeting different people from diverse cultures, countries and welcoming each other as we are!
Besides from tasty meals we also have in menu: exchange, board games, doing dishes, singing, prayer, music…
For young people (18-35) there is a possibility to participate in such program:
15:00 Arrival (3.5km from Zottegem station): getting to know each other and the location.
17:00 Preparation meal and party
20:00 Festive meal
23:00 Prayer for peace (inspired by the prayer of Taize)
24:00 Beginning of the New Year!
09:00 Breakfast
10:30 Eucharistic celebration
12:00 Meal
14:00 Cleaning and back home.
Give us a sign!

Who wishes to spend the night there, please bring what is nessesary with you, amongst other things: sleeping bag, fitted sheet, toilet supplies.
